This is the weekend of tradition when the Enka Fair comes to Town. This event evokes so many memories for Winchester residents as we recall the excitement of watching the trucks roll into Town and waiting for the fair to open on Friday night.
Over the years the Fair has been in many different locations including in back of the Town Hall, Skillings Field and Manchester Field. (How many of us remember making plans to meet friends "at the rock" when EnKa was at Manchester Field?) We have also seen all kinds of weather from pouring rain with thunder and lightening to sweltering heat to frigid temperatures but the show always goes on. Isn't it amazing that after a solid week of rain and drizzle this year, the sun appeared Friday afternoon and continued right through Saturday?
Another great EnKa- thank you, ladies!
