We met Dara after a seller's agent from her office referred her to us to act as our buyer's agent. We ended up clicking with Dara and she helped us to find our home in Lexington. She had to manage a difficult seller's agent in our purchase and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We obviously chose her to also act as our seller's agent and she completely nailed the timing, listing price, and market - we ended up with an amazing offer. Dara is an excellent option to put your place on the market. She helped us sell two condos in Cambridge. She is efficient, responsive, knowledgeable and thorough— everything that you want in an agent. She partnered with us on day one and provided an analysis of our property and walked us through the sale process. She gave recommendations on best practices and positioning our property for the best sale price. She managed all of the milestones and kept us in the loop and provided contacts as necessary for staging and legal. It was a great experience and we are happy with the result!

I worked with Dara Singleton as a first time homebuyer in 2006 and she was far and away my first choice when the time came to sell 13 years later. Prior to meeting Dara, I had several Realtor experiences which left me wondering whether I was being hustled and whether I should try to navigate this new and intimidating process on my own. And then Dara came along. I honestly don't remember how we connected but I am eternally grateful. Dara instantly put me at ease. Suddenly this overwhelming task of traipsing through endless (sometimes depressing) open houses and weighing huge financial implications was tinged with anticipation rather than apprehension. She backed up her warm demeanor and boundless optimism with fierce competence. She listened and made it clear that she was here to support my process and my decision with experience, good advice, and solid data. We saw some doozies together: properties, tenants, and owners. And every time we could laugh or sigh or commiserate and pick ourselves up and do it again. Ultimately I made an offer on the first place I saw from a newspaper listing with no realtor introduction. But I was more than glad to see Dara get the commission because, without her patience and guidance, I wouldn't have seen all the comps and got all the analysis to feel absolutely certain that this was the right choice. And her work continued in advising me of a fair and viable offer; making introductions to lawyers; organizing the process; prepping me for paperwork; and staying by my side until the very last paper was signed and the keys were in my hand. Based on this stellar experience I didn't think twice about engaging Dara to represent me when I was ready to sell. I am a firm believer in hiring professionals if you want a job done right and Dara fits that description in every regard.

We worked with Dara for TWO years to find our new home, and sell our existing home too. We were very picky buyers, but Dara was patient with us and only directed us to the homes & open houses that were even remotely interesting to us. She didn't waste our time with styles that we weren't into at all and we really appreciated that! Also, our situation was very complicated, with selling prior to buying, and she adeptly navigated the situation and got us extra time in our home after selling (what's called a lease-back) because our new home required some fixer-upper-ing. Dara was EXCELLENT to work with and made sure we knew what the next steps were all along the way. At negotiation time, she was a straight shooter with other agents -- some agents will overestimate prices and play a dirty game but Dara works with integrity and respect, and I think this worked in our benefit, because she got us a great deal! I would not hesitate to work with her again, and I will definitely be recommending her to friends and family.

Dara is a true gem and a consummate professional! We've known her for more than 10 years now, and she's guided us through the sale of two houses and the purchase of two -- first in 2011, and more recently in the fall of 2018. (We first met as neighbors and fellow dog park users many moons ago.) Throughout all four transactions, Dara's professionalism shone through. She is relentlessly ethical and very practical through all the ups and downs of the very competitive Boston area real estate market. Dara's communication is always second to none -- she texts or emails back in the early morning or late evening, while still being an amazing parent and spouse to her family! We've been so thrilled with Dara that we've referred countless family members and friends to her, and wouldn't even think of another real estate transaction without her expert guidance.
