Last January, my mom and I met the wonderful and talented Theresa Johnson of Johnson Photography at my house for a photo shoot. We were marking the beginning of a new decade at BHGRE The Shanahan Group with my new partnership in the company. The announcement to the public was to be made in the early spring, but well...more important things came up.
As we celebrated Mother's Day this weekend (while socially distancing), Nan and I decided that now was the time. Below is the official press release. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Shanahan Group is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2020, Karen Shanahan Garrett became a partner and co-owner, alongside her mother and longtime real estate broker Nan Shanahan. Since its beginning in 2007, The Shanahan Group has been led by Nan as broker owner and supported in its leadership by Karen. Through the years, both women have worked together to build a successful, reputable and local brand, bringing together the best professionals in the real estate industry to serve our clients.
In 2019, we adopted a new mission statement to reflect our culture as a group, but also our approach to serving our clients. In recent weeks, this mission statement has guided us and has never been more important as we pave a path forward.
